Beaufort police: Man bails on hotel tab

Beaufort police are asking for the public's help in finding a Port Royal man who's accused of leaving a hotel without paying the bill.

Bejamin Ray Smith III, also known as "Smitty", 44, of Port Royal, is wanted by police. Police said Smith defrauding an Innkeeper by skipping out on more than $1700 in hotel charges that he accrued locally.
